Landman Robotics is well versed in the systems engineering process and associated tools such as simulation, model based design and requirements management. We have developed a Requirements Management Tool comprising 250,000 lines of high level language code that makes possible capture, breakdown, validation, verification and control of requirements in large teams with team members located anywhere in the world. The tool is similar to the Rational Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) program without the problems of DOORS as found on real projects. In contrast to other requirements management tools, our tool can directly link to a family of configuration-controlled Simulink models used to validate requirements contained within the tool.

This forms part of our approach to use Model Based Design and to certify our software in terms of DO178C (class depending the application).

Our RMT tool was successfully used to perform requirements management for a mid-life upgrade project involving a fleet of helicopters. The Human-Machine Interface of the RMT tool will be upgraded after which the tool will be made available for purchase on the open market.
